We work hand-in-hand withcommunity leaders as much as possible, we strongly support localemployment, grass roots non-profit organizations and various developmentprojects, to ensure the well being of natural habitats and local communities.We adhere to strict sustainable and ethical operation policies in the officeand in the field. AI is dedicated to creating authentic comfortable travelexperiences and our management team and chosen guides understand thiscommitment. Ourphilosophy is that you can combine luxury adventure travel andlocal communities into a symbiotic life-changing experience.While giving our travelers ever-lasting memories, we also looktowards the future and seek to create sustainable tourism modelsin the areas that we visit. This happens through our owndedicated teams and through our partnerships. Our on-the-ground approach for our programs is distinct, in that not all of ourteam are sitting in an office. We have owners and managers whoare constantly on reconnaissance for new trips, we have tripleaders who are guiding private groups, we have the best localguides leading families and small groups on their next departure,and sales consultants planning your next adventure. Thisoperational approach ensures that we are on top of our services,our knowledge, and our commitment to being as close to theground outfitting as possible.

Our authenticity and expertise comes from our backgroundas guides, trip leaders, and managers. We have over a decade of experiencerunning professional and safe adventure trips into remote wilderness areasand the world’s highest peaks. The AI team goes above and beyond tocreate a dynamic, comfortable, and well-managed trip. We are committed tobeing one of the most ethical and socially responsible adventure travelcompanies, through meaningful, supportive relationships and partnerships inthe areas that our guests visit.We take pride in having some of the mostcompetent and knowledgeable guides, paying industry-leading wages,including more comprehensive safety devices, and having the best gear foryour adventure. We adhere to strict ‘trash in trash out’ principles andbecame the first company in East Africa to participate in Carbon off-sets thatcreate incentives for natural forest conservation at the grassroots level. Ourlocal and International guides are extensively trained and qualified; withwildlife knowledge in the bush, bi annually trained in safety health monitoringsystems, have wilderness responder certifications, and have a genuinepassion for leading unforgettable trips in the landscapes they respectivelyentertain.
