St#C-2atabout1759hrsonareportofaphysicalDVinvolvingaknife.Dispatchhadadvisedtheofficersviaradiothatthemalesuspecthadfledtheresidenceaftermakingthreatswithaknife.Hewasdescribedasawhitemalewearingagreyjacketandjeans.Hewasasaidtobe25yearsoldwithdarkbrownhair.ThenameofthesuspectgivenbythecallerwasJeremyHaunhorstandhehadfledtowardsawoodedareaeastboundfromtheresidence.OfficerAldridgespokewiththevictimSusanHaunhorst,themotherofthesuspect.ShetoldofficersthathersonwascomplainingofpaintohiswristscausedbyCarpalTunnelsyndromeandsheheardhimsaythathewasgoingtochophisarmsoff.Shesaidsheheardhimshufflingthroughtheknifedrawerandthenheardhimsay"ouch.that'snotgoingtowork."SuzanwasupstairsandsheheardhimscreamingathisgirlfriendCindy(Cynthia).SuzansaidCindycameintoherroomandsaid"gethimoutofhere.

hishandonthebanisterwhilehewaslookingforhisEBTcard.HsaidJeremycamedownstairssayinghewantedtocuthishandoff,andthengrabbedaknifeoutofthekitchendrawer.Hsaidshewentupstairsthenaminutelaterheardnoisesfromdownstairs.HsaidshesawsomecutsonJeremy'srightannandthathewentupstairsandheldhisannoverthebathroomsink.H'saidafewminuteslater,Jeremystartedarguingwiththeirmomsayingsheshouldgolo'okforhisEBTcard.H.said.shewentdownstairs,butwentrightbackupthestairsbecauseJeremywasgettingoutofcontrol.11.sawJeremystandingatthetopofthestairsholdingascrewdriverinhishandyelling"somebodybetterfindmyEBTcard"and"don'tcallthecopsorI'mgonnastabthem,Idon'tcarewhoitis!

withbronchitis,andshesaiditwouldbedifficulttoprovidehimwithafullwrittenstatement.CynthiatoldhimthatJeremywasscreamingatherabouthisEBTcard.ShesaidshewasinthebathroomcleaningupbloodfromJeremycuttinghimselfwhiletheywerearguing.ShesaidshewenttoSuzan'sroomandtoldhertokickJeremyoutoftheresidence.CynthiasaidshesawJeremygrabbedSuzaninachokeholdandraisethescrewdriveroverhisheadinastabbingmotion,atwhichtimeSuzandidsomethingtomakehimlethergo.CynthiasaidshewasafraidJeremywasgoingtostabSuzanwiththescrewdriver,becausesheheardhimthreatentodosoandhewasina"rage,"OfficerGMorikawawasdrivingintheareaoftheArrowwoodapartmentcomplexwhenhesawamalethatgenerallyfitthedescriptionofthesuspectgivenovertheradio.HestoppedhisvehicleandaskedthemaleifhewasJeremy.ThemalestoodthereforasecondandOfficerMorikawarepeated,you'reJeremyright?,towhichthemaleanswered"Yeah,I'mJeremy".OfficerMorikawanotifiedtheunitsattheresidencethathehadthesuspectJeremyHaunhorstdetainedatthatlocation.HewastheninformedbyOfficerAldridgethattherewasProbableCauseforthearrestofJeremyHaunhorstfortheoffenseofAssault2

AfterreceivingtheinformationOfficerMorikawaadvisedJeremythathewasbeingarrestedforAssault2.OfficerMorikawareadJeremyHaunhorsthisMirandaRightsandtransportedhimtotheFWPDforprocessing.OfficerMorikawanoticedablackscarfthatwaswrappedaroundJeremy'srightwrist.JeremydeclinedaidforthewoundhoweverhedidallowOfficerMorikawatocleanthewoundandplaceabandageonitas
