Andy Haakenson reported:-At previous meetings the Civic has discussed hosting a seminar on Medicare for eligible seniors.Andy has a contact who does such presentations; a nighttime event would be most realistic. Thiscould be a one-night event for individuals to learn the steps to signing up for Medicare; additionally,it may be beneficial if someone from the political spectrum can come speak to what may happen toMedicare given funding issues.
