Violence, discrimination and exclusion cause suering or millions o people
across the world today. Born out o ear, ignorance and mistrust, these ac-tors undermine saety, health and human potential. Dierences o opinionand disagreements are a normal part o humanity, but the question is:
how
can we deal with these in a constructive way?
Violence, discrimination and exclu-sion are too oten looked at in isolation, as separate issues. However, they are
intertwined and have common root causes. By looking at these common rootcauses, we can seek common solutions.

is not just aboutthe absence o war. It is not an end or nal goal, but a process. It is about creat-ing an enabling environment or dialogue and discussion and nding solutionsto problems and tensions, without ear o violence, through a process in which
