I.PRELIMINARY
MATTERS1.IamaFederalAgent,authorizedtoinvestigateviolationsofthelawsoftheUnitedStates,andIamalawenforcementofficerwithauthoritytoexecutearrestandsearchwarrantsissuedundertheauthorityoftheUnitedStates.2.YouraffiantisaSpecialAgentwiththeFederalBureauofInvestigation("FBI")currentlyassignedtotheWashingtonFieldOffice.Priortothisassignment,youraffiantwasintheLasVegasDivision.YouraffianthasbeenemployedbytheFBIforapproximatelyfiveandahalfyears.PriortohisemploymentwiththeFBI,youraffiantwasemployedasapoliceofficerwiththeSt.LouisCounty,MissouriPoliceDepartmentforapproximatelytenyears.AsaSpecialAgentwiththeFBI,youraffianthasworkedoncasesinvolvingviolentcrimes,includingbankrobberies,car-jackings,andkidnappings;extraterritorialcrimes,includingwarcrimes,tortureandmurder;andwhitecollarcrimes,includingpubliccorruption,moneylaundering,bankfraudandcivilrightviolations.3.TheinformationsetforthinthisAffidavitisknowntomeasaresultofaninvestigationpersonallyconductedbymeandbyotherlawenforcementagents.Thus,thestatementscontainedinthisAffidavitarebasedinpartoninformationprovidedtomebyotheragentsandinvestigatorsfromtheUnitedStatesSecretService("USSS"),theUnitedStatesParkPolice("USPP"),andtheFBI,aswellaslocallawenforcementofficerswhohaveassistedtheinvestigation.StatementsinthisAffidavitarealsobasedinpartonareviewofrecordsobtainedduringtheinvestigation,interviews,surveillance,documentsobtainedduringtheexecutionofsearchwarrants,andmytrainingandexperienceasalawenforcementofficer.
