The Southeast Asian Games (also known as the SEA Games), is a biennial multi-sport event involving participants from the current 11 countries of Southeast Asia. The games is under regulation of the Southeast Asian Games Federation with supervision by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Council of Asia. In the first appereance, Indonesia does not include the four pioneers countries of the SEA Games whom formerly named SEAP (South East Asian Peninsular) Games. In fact, Indonesia just joined after 20 years since the first SEAP Games was held in 1959. The name of SEA Games was the idea of Indonesia. Indonesia SEA Games 2011 will be held in 11 days from November 11, 2011 November 22, 2011 in two host cities, Palembang and Jakarta with 542 gold medals to be competed through 44 sports. In Jakarta, competition venues will be centered in Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK). This stadium is the largest and oldest stadium in Indonesia which is very historic for the people of Indonesia which is located in the capital of Jakarta and has seating capacity of about 88 thousand spectators. Currently, Bung Karno Regions stood wide range of facilities for sporting activities in 36 Venues, Politics, Business, Recreation and Tourism. There is a fact about SEA GAMES 26th itself, when its only 1,5 month left before it starts in Indonesia, There is so much building that unfinished yet. Fortunately there is a honorer volunteer that helped the Seagames building progress. And now all of the sea games infrastructure is finished and ready to use! Another fact The Nazarrudin case is also the main problem of corrupted budget in wisma Altet building progress, and because of that all of the atlethe must sleep in a military ship that has been modifided for a luxurious hotel. Indonesia is ready to make the SEA GAMES happen in the country, there is a few important people who will attend the program such like the President of indonesia, Mr. SBY and his cabinets.

SEA Games has already opened at 11th November. But there is an interesting fact about this South East Asia Games, this is the fact: 1. For the matter to host the SEA Games, Indonesia lost to Thailand and Malaysia which has six times to host the SEA Games. Meanwhile, Indonesia has only four times to host the SEA Games (including the SEA Games 2011). 2. In its history usually SEA Games is only held in one city, But in SEA games 2003 In Vietnam and SEA games 2011 in Indonesia, the even is held in 2 city at the same times. 3. Timor Leste and Kamboja is the two country which have never held the SEA Games. However Kamboja is lucky because they can held it in year 2021. 4. In the SEA games there is two country which was a one country. The first one is Malaysia and Singapore, both of them was a federation country but Singapore choosed to leave Malaysia and declare their independece at 9 August 1965. And the second country which was a one country is Timore Leste and Indonesia, of course you know the reason, timor leste held a referendum and the result was their independence. 5. The 22th SEA Games which held in jakarta and palembang was started in a unique date; its 11-11-11 and there is 11 country that join the event. Very unique digit isnt it? Yeah the government has planned it perfectly of course. 6. The last fact is the 22th SEA Games has the most expensive budget for its opening, it cost about 150 billion Rupiah. And the ticket for the opening is about 200 thousand rupiah for each person who want to watch it lively. There was ten thousand ticket for sale. And That is the unique fact about our marvelous SEA games event. In my point of view, theres still the positive and the negative side of the 24th SEA games in Indonesia. The positive side is Indonesia can develop a good diplomatic connection with the other country, and there is many people can get a new job in sea games such like an athlete, they can bring us many gold and make themself proud to be an athlete. The negative side is the event produce so many garbage that make our country environment dirty because there is so much people that discard their thing carelessly. The people who watched the SEA Games ignore the rule about environment. Maybe that is all the thing that I can tell to you about the 24th SEA games. Thank you so much for your attention. Good bye.
