Thanksgiving Lunch on Tuesday

Being Thankful
November is a great month to remember how lucky we are and to be thankful for the things we have. To help us, the students were challenged to say thank you when given the chance. To help motivate them to use their manners, the students were given tickets for every time they appropriately said thank you to someone. We are extremely thankful for the technology we have in this class so lets see how we used it during the week. The students started studying fact/opinion in reading. We wrapped up science with some interesting science links and a test on Friday. We continued to study modern America by looking at economic booms and the 1920s. The students started writing their 1920s podcasts. In math, we defeated Lady College of Greenhills of Ireland 5-0! We wrote to our ePals about Halloween and Veterans Day. We were very thankful for Mrs. Brock and Mrs. Rule who worked with the students on a special project for the parents on Thursday.
