Functionality
Input can be retrieved onto the Arduino in a numberof ways both digital and analogue.
Sensors convert changes in a physical quantity toelectrical signals that can be interpreted with theArduino.
Temp sensors, Light Sensors, Force sensors are e.g..

Temperature sensors
Gives a Vout propotional to ambient roomtemperature.
Concept : as temperature increases, voltageacross a p-n junction increases at a knownrate. (in this case Vbe)
Voltage at Anlg.Pin in Volts = (
reading from ADC
) * (5/1024)

V
Centigrade temperature = [(analog voltagein V)
