• UNCHECK “DISPLAY SIMPLE FOLDER
VIEW IN EXPLORER’S FOLDER LIST”
• UNCHECK “DON’T CASHE
THUMBNAILS”
• APPLY TO ALL FOLDERS
 FREEZING OF DESKTOP!!
• GO TO REGEDIT
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Micro
soft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
• CHANGE THE VALUE OF
“DesktopProcess” FROM 0 TO 1
• IF NOT FOUND >EDIT > NEW > DWORD
Value > DesktopProcess > 1
 PREVENT SHUTDOWN !
• If your PC must still working and you want
to prevent anyone from shutting it down.
• Go to RUN > gpedit.msc > User
configuration > Administrative Templates
> Start Menu and Taskbar > double click
“Remove and prevent access to the Shut
Down command” > Enabled > OK
• TRY THIS WITH OTHER OPTIONS,
PLEASE !
 CAN WE HIDE DRIVES !
• Run > gpedit.msc > User Configuration >
Administrative Templates > Windows
Components > Windows Explorer > Hide
these specified drives in My Computer >
Enable > Restrict what you want to restrict

Browser Toolbar Customization >
Customize toolbar background bitmap >
choose your bitmap > OK
 Change a Driver Name?
• Method 1:
Run > regedit > HKey_Local_Machine >

the drive which you want to change its
symbol eg. "\DosDevices\D:“ and rename
it to any name eg. "\DosDevices\z:"
