Maximizing Performance Achievement in E-Governance with Key Performance Index asMeans of Corporate Social Responsibility towards Excellence in Managing E-Governmentin Malaysian Public Organizations
Abstract
Purpose
 –
This research is attempted to examine e-governance organizational effort tocreate an innovative and creative environment to govern effective and high quality e-government in Malaysian public organizations. The managing culture and climate of thepublic organizations have great influence in determining the level of achievement andexcellence. Demographic factors, professional achievement and working experiences of publicofficers are some of the factors important towards this study.Design/ methodology/ approach

Five dimensions namely public organizations’
demographic continuum, leadership quality, managerial strategy, organizational culture andpractice and personal and working experience of public officers were examined to determinethe excellence in performance achievement and management in good e-governance practicesof e-government.Finding - In general, there is a significant difference among factors stated above in goodgovernance of public organizations. The climate of the organization is also closely related to theleadership skills of the public organizations. In addition, the managers and management areanother two essential factors found to be the strong fundamental of organizations with toweringquality.Research limitations/ implications
 –
This study represents an addition to the extantliterature on performance achievement in excellence of e-governance with KPI as means ofcorporate responsibility in e-government towards the excellence of managing publicorganizations.Practical Implications
 –
The excellence in high performance achievement with KPI within anorganization is a pivotal role in managing an organization effectively. it was even more important
for the public officers to improve its efficiency and integrity for the country’s development and
realizing its goals. In the effort of overcoming public organizational debility in management, acreative and innovative move has to introduce to overcome those shortchanges.Originality/ value

This study provides further groundwork of e-governance to assistexisting public organizati
ons’ officers and manager to improve work quality and to deliver the
