I love Frankston library, I love all libraries, they arequiet and full of lovely people.Thank you for your praise in recognition of our library service, book selection and staff. We hopeyou continue to enjoy your visits to the Library.We strive to provide a warm and welcomingatmosphere for our customers and it is always greatto hear from our satisfied customers.Friendly staff, efficient service and great choice of books.I think Frankston library is good for families and is agreat library.Family History Group, very useful and informativeservice and the staff member is very helpful.I think the library is a great place. I love it.Staff are always friendly and helpful.Always very helpful staff, I love my Frankston library.Great, the librarians are fantastic.I use this library for my school and for my own readingpleasure, This is a great library well done.I love this library; keep up the great work and thankyou.Over the last year, I have found the staff at Frankstonand Langwarrin extremely competent and helpful withtheir guidance. First time she’s been able toborrow for herself, always looking after the children.Very good library and thanks.Staff member was fantastic and enthusiastic, a greathelp.Would like to acknowledge a staff member on the frontdesk who was a wonderful in assisting me locatereading material recommended to me. The staff member was kind and warm and was so caring. Shemade a hard day turn into smiles and me feeling I wasnot alone. Words cannot express how she made adifference.Staff were talking and laughing loudly right near people trying to study, even with headphones on, Icould hear them. Several people were annoyed but itkept on for sometime. A study area in the library ismeant to be quiet and staff should themselves knowthat. Also people having conversations on mobilephones, talking softly is OK, but it was like the wholeconversation was on speaker phone (not staff).Doubly annoyed.Thank you for your feedback, should you have anyconcerns regarding the staff or a customer at thelibrary in the future, please discuss these directlywith the duty manager.Can you have the loud singing, reading for children inan enclosed room? I am sure the children are not deaf that they need the person to be so loud.Thank you for your feedback. We welcome allmembers of the community to the library. We haveseparated the children’s area from the computers tominimize the level of noise. Every secondWednesday we provide TinyTots and Story timesweekly on Thursday to our youngest members for one hour and during that time a certain level of noise may be unavoidable. Some customers find ithelpful to use headphones while working at thecomputers to help reduce any noise in the library.

We will look intofurther divide the popular music collection in thefuture.I love your music collection although find it a bitfrustrating when looking for CDs with multi artists(compilations). I think you need some aboriginal workers and putup an Aboriginal flag up, at least 2 because it ismy land and you need to recognize that.When there are advertisements for newpositions available at our libraries, we welcomeall applicants. Whilst the Library doesn’tdisplay any flags, the Council representsAboriginal culture with the flag flying by theCivic Centre on Davey Street.Please have the coffee machine working on theweekend. I especially came for a cappuccino anda browse. I could have the browse and not thecoffee.I am sorry you missed your coffee but very gladyou stuck around to still make use of theLibrary. The coffee cart operatesindependently to the Library and thereforeopening hours are at the owner’s discretion.The Terry Denton Day was fantastic – myfriend/child won 2 tickets to Hoyts and we usedthem today to see Lion King 3D.So pleased to hear you enjoyed your self andthat our prizes have been put to use. TerryDenton said he had a great day too!A request for small basket trolleys on wheels. For patrons who have osteo/arthritis. They are veryhelpful for patrons who select several books andmagazines.We have 4 types of basket available to patrons.Please ask a staff member for assistance if youare unable to locate any.Can you have a corner for meditation? my daughter felt very uncomfortable with the 3men occupying the 3 easy chairs in this area.Being watched! It seems a bit of a backwater inthe library – quiet area and out of the way andyoung people + middle aged men watching = !changes we have made and we do ask for thearea to be left available for teenagers to enjoy.It is vital that staff be made aware immediatelyif any of our teenage patrons feeluncomfortable, so that we can rectify thesituation.I have really appreciated the MarketingCoordinator organizing a copy of
