DPO= Total defects divided by opportunities for error x sample size DPMO= DPO x 1000000 DPU= Number of defects divided by sample size Yield = Number of non defectives divided by sample size

Type1 error:- A rejection of true null hypothesis false alarm- alpha error Type2 error:-Accepting bad lot failure to sound the alarm Beta- Probability of type 2 error - Power (1-beta) probability of avoiding a type 2 error

CP= USL-LSL divided by 6S CPK= Minimum ( USL-mean divided by 3S , mean-LSL divided by 3s)
