This is a Building Knowledge of the Field step to teach your students which focuses on Descriptive text. The first step is a game session. It is called Bingo Game. It is a versatile and fun game. It can be easily adapted to practise vocabulary, numbers, verb forms, etc. The rule are: 1. Write 24 words on the board (see page 2) 2. Draw the two grids A and B(see page 3,4) 3. Ask the student copy grid B 4. Ask students to choose 16 different words randomly from page 1 and write them in grid B 5. Explain that you will call out some words 6. If they hear any of the words they have written they have to cross this word off in their grid 7. If they cross off all four words in a line (in any diirection) they have to shout BINGO as loud as they can 8. If they are correct and you have already said these words then they are the winner ZAM ZAM (TEACHER'S OASIS);
