Procedure:
1. Construct the solar house.
2. Place the solar house with its window toward the sun. Make sure it’s padded with a piece of
cardboard underneath. Do not block the sunlight from reaching the solar house and don’t
cast a shadow on the solar house.
3. Record the temperature at minute 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, and 11. (While you wait between minute
5 and 10, make a line graph on the data sheet.
4. Calculate the net temperature change.
5. Complete the Results & Conclusion Sheet with your lab group and discussed your group
results.
