Edmodo can be an excellent source for communicating withstudents.

-Technology can be difficult to understand and use in the classroom.-Teachers must have a high level of understanding concerning technology in order toutilize in the classroom.-Using technology and web 2.0 tools is time consuming.

These teachers have access to the latest and greatesttechnology. However, free tools are rarely taken advantage of. This lessonwill give them a free tool to use to help reach more students and openlines of communication with parents (and students).
Product Performance and Purpose:
Create an Edmodo account to usewith students and parents in posting announcements, reminders,assignments, and to use as a discussion board to help students collaboratewith one another.
Standards and Criteria for Success:
Teachers successfully usingEdmodo with their students.
