Abstract: This article examines risks associated with the program of passive search for alien signals (SETI). In this paper we propose a scenario of a possible vulnerability and discuss the reasons why the proportion of dangerous signals can be great. This article does not propose to ban SETI program, and not insist on the inevitability of SETI-attack. Moreover, it gives the option how SETI can be a salvation of mankind.
