Re. your comment to Mr. Landry: It is extremely difficult to get assistance from Senators and Congresspersons, except with specific incidents where a "brush fire" needs to be extinguished. Such assistance, while helpful, does little when you have a continuing issue with OWCP. I have been in nearly constant contact with my Senator's office for over a year because one fire after another needs to be dealt with.
Given the numbers of RPCVs who are having continuous, significant issues with Peace Corps' Office of Medical Services and/or OWCP, it is clear that a real solution has to be systemic.
