December 2011, the fullmoon day, Pournimaasya. It is going to be a total Lunar eclipse (Sampoorna ChandraGrahana) occurring
at the Moon’s descending node, Kethugrastha Chandra Grahana.
This eclipse will be visible all over Asia, Australia, New-Zealand, Europe, NorthAmerica, Canada and Middle East. In India it will be visible throughout the country.It is going to be again a long eclipse stretching for more than three hours with itstotality lasting for 51 minutes. We had recently witnessed a similar type but stilllonger lunar eclipse in the mont
h of June’2011.
Astrologically, this Eclipse is occurringin the constellation of Rohini extending to Mrigasira star in Vrushabha Raasi (Taurus).
