Intro:
Okay, so we start out from the first with some really odd use of language – 3 of 2. I'm trying out the odd idea that there might be another one or three of these journals in me, on this lovely topic. So, who knows – let's see what arises.

What I want to share here is consideration of definitions. That's right, definitions of words, ideas, concepts – all of it. I guess it gets down to the basic use or function of language, really. Let's check it out.

First, we tie ourselves up in little knots when we define things. We calcify around those definitions – we get locked in. Now, obviously this can be useful. Dictionaries are nice – sure they are. But did you know we went a long time without them? Sure, and many say it was nicer.

People spelled things however they liked. The net result was that you could almost “hear” someone speak when you read their writing. You could tell pretty much where they were from, because they spelled like their accent. Very nice. Something we don't get, today. Today, like everything else, language is mechanized – robotic, in fact.

Now, drop down into heart with me. Let's both do the watch-and-observe thing as this journal comes through. That's how I do these, you know – I just watch and observe, as the fingers dance over the keys. It's a new way of living, and I find it has much to offer – much that totally blows the mind. I like it, anyway. Maybe you will, as well.

Just remember, it takes some surrender to get here – surrender of thought and of mind – so just keep doing that...

Language Structures Consciousness –Don't Hex Your Self, Don't Define, 3 of 2
This VideoOkay, so we start out from the first with some really odd use of language –3 of 2. I like it, anyway. Maybe you will, as well. Just remember, it takes some surrender to get here – surrender of thoughtand of mind – so just keep doing that.Okay, now, when we define things we lose a part of the self. Stay out of mind with this – strictly out. I know mind thinks language is strictly in itspurview, but that ain't necessarily so. So, to each definition we give up apart of the self. Why is that? Heck, I don't know. Just go by the feel of it,man – step into that. Can we just let things be what they are? Why must we define them? Doyou think it's possible a new way of relating to life could erupt, if we justgave it the chance? I do. I don't know where this is coming from, but itfeels right to me – a new way of relating to life. Things don't need to be defined. They have no need for that. We do thatstrictly for ourselves. Let's start there. Things have no need for definitions. They existed just fine without them – they will, again. Why or how is that? Well, we're all stepping back into full or fuller use of ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) and intuition. As you may have noticed withsome channeled beings, they tell us they don't use names in theircivilizations. Well, maybe we're headed that way, ourselves. Come on, now– how do we know what life with 12 DNA strands is like? Can you say? Norcan I – yet.So, what do we lose when we define things? We lose subjectivity. We loseoneness. We create the object. Before that it was just part of what was – of the One – part of us. By defining it we take it out of that space. We put itoutside – making it external to all of that. We have just created separation, created subject and object, and I say that's not even needed. So, why dowe do that? Because we're used to doing it that way.Well, that's a poor excuse for anything, isn't it? Just because people havebeen doing it that way. That says exactly nothing. It takes the self awayfrom the self, even – to give it over to something like that. Utter nonsense.Custom is no excuse for anything. It's an excuse to go brain dead. Stopand consider – I think you'll agree.

Now, don't be frightened, here. Just another trip with the crazy mystic, right? Nothing to fear. We've had all safe landings, so far, right? This onewill be no different. You'll know by the fear in your gut when you've slippedout of heart into mind, by the way. Just sayin.'Now, don't try to think about this. Keep the mind out. Stick to feeling yourway around it. We objectify the world when we define things. We makethem into objects, when they weren't that, before. They were part of theoneness before we did that – part of us. Just part of what was. 'Now we've made them into things. That, and we don't even get to definethem, ourselves. No, we must trust someone else to do that for us – mustuse the dictionary as the authority. So we gave some of our power away, there, as well. Just think – if there were not all these endless words for things – all of thesedefinitions – how quiet mind would be. It would lose ¾ of its content, justlike that. All those words, whisked away in a flash. The quiet mind. We'dbe in heart much easier, then. I bet we'd seldom stray. We could live in our sensing, feeling nature, instead of being led (andactually controlled) by the mind. Wouldn't that be different?! Oh, my God,what a difference definitions make. So, what are they? Why do we do that? Do we really need to define things?Remember, don't answer from mind. Mind is off-limits for that, just now.Let it hush. It will, if you persist in ignoring it. Mind eventually gives up. This is getting us down to the main distinction between mind and heart –the way that they function – how they work. Mind is always learning andknowing ABOUT things – whereas heart comes at them from within them.Heart senses things from the inside. Heart experiences them. Thedifference is vast.Stay in heart with me, now. I just know that one day we'll have a vastcommunity, here, of being living, communing, sharing, and caring fromheart. Hang in there – in heart – and maybe you'll be part of that.
