Pattern
start with a 3 square piece of paper fold into quarters draw half circle cut out * you can reduce or enlarge the size of the flower by changing the size of your square

Folded and Layered Pouf

ideal for heavy fabric using pattern cut out 10-14 flowers set aside one flower as the base fold each flower into fourths

grab four folded flowers, stitch onto flower base going around until base is covered add second layer of folded flowers, o optional: use second color

add third layer, varying the placement fluff up flower petals add embellishment to center o optional: sew felt circle to back of flower

lightweight fabric is best for this pouf style

using the same pattern as above cut eight flowers out stitch a circle in the middle of the flower tie a knot in the thread pull the thread tight, gathering the circle repeat with remaining flowers string all flowers onto thread wrap thread around base of all flowers until secure stitch or glue felt circle to bottom
