2 VIEWS OF BILATERAL KNEES: 06/21/05. COMPARISON: 2 views of right knee 10/12/04 and four views of bilateral knees 10/05/04. CLINICAL HISTORY: 67 year old woman with right total knee arthroplasty and left knee pain. IMPRESSION: 1. In comparison to 10/05/04, again seen is mild bilateral genu vara, largely due to lateral bowing of the femora bilaterally. 2. Unchanged right total knee arthroplasty without evidence of hardware failure or loosening. 3. Again seen are degenerative changes at the left knee. There has been interval increase in narrowing of the medial compartment at the left knee with tricompartmental osteophytosis. A small, 5mm rounded calcification just posterior to the left knee on the lateral view is again noted and may represent fabella or loose body. Also again seen is a calcified protuberance at the anterior aspect of the left tibial plateau on the lateral view, which may represent ossification at the insertion of the anterior cruciate ligament. 4. Unremarkable appearance of the hips.
