ENDING THE AMERICAN WINTER: A GREEN PRESCRIPTION 2AbstractThis paper provides a growth-oriented solution to current problems that America faces both domestically and internationally. It explores job creation, health-care, tax policy, andconsumer debt solutions. Further, it identifies ways to manage our environment and providealternative energy strategies based on a pragmatic approach rather than a purely ideological one.Finally, this analysis considers the possible resolutions to some of our most contentious social problems in education and our relations between one another and between the government andthe people.The proposals described in this document represent the desires of the Campaign-Committee to Elect Mike Ballantine President 2012 to present to the American people as analternative vision to those put forward by the Republicans or the Democrats. Whereas, Mike isrunning as a member of the Green Party, the platform for the Green Party has not been presentedfor 2012 and there may be some deviations from the official Green Platform.
