Description
When Father, Interior Design Consultant, and would be author, Joe Law, moves to Las Vegas to live with his Godfather and family, he has no idea that his colorful past will catch up with him. Add a troupe of Headlining female impersonators, a local design firm, Kassidy Clellan, a new FBI agent with her canine partner, Radar, and an award winning director, Adam Donner stuck producing gay pornography, looking for the right break into legitmate film making, and you have a story that combines mystery, comedy, and reward in "The Devil, The Blue Dress and The Fairy Godfather". Combined with new romance, old friendships and unfinished business, each character and persona overcomes their dream chasing vision quests and fears. Unlikely heroes and heroines prove that some of these queens that are from from a "drag", and re-iterates who is "Man's Best Friend".
Cindy Pierre- Morton's first published book "For A Reason" is a romantic drama about abuse, obsession and finding true love. In August 2006, her erotic story "Doing It To The Max" was published in Playgirl Magazine. She also had a feature story "The Date From Hell" published in the Las Vegas Review Journal. Cindy is a member of The Mystery Writers of America. In 2005 she was awarded a Jackpot Grant from the Nevada Arts Council to attend the Bouchercon convention in Chicago. Cindy moved to Las Vegas in 1997 and was with the MGM/Mirage Corporation until 2006. Starting out in the marketing department at the Golden Nugget Hotel/Casino where she created advertising, newsletters and offers, she moved into Security to run the Lost and Found branch of the department. In 2004 she was asked to move to the Treasure Island Hotel/Casino to set up their Lost and Found department. She was then promoted to an officer that handles administration reports that include but are not limited to thefts, accidents, illnesses, suicides and even murder. A lot of the material she writes about is first hand knowledge of various situations. She is currently employed as an Accounting Manager for a property management company. Two projects she is working on are a story about two sisters who were separated when they were young, adopted into entirely different families but treated by their adopted families in almost identical manners titled "Mirror Images" and "The Z Team: 50 Years of Comedy From The Woods" a comic tales in the forest from a hunter's point of view.
Cindy Pierre-Morton met Joe Savage at a writer's conference strictly by chance. After a short meeting of the minds a great friendship was born. Cindy and Joey are both published photographers.
Joey Savage, an interior designer by trade, was trained as an Air Force Journalist. He had articles published in both the "Air Force Times" and "The Beacon" before returning to civilian life in 1998 when he became a Marketing Manager for Enterprise Rent a Car. During the year 2000 he started his own independent interior design firm. In 2004, his contemporary floral, "Purple Posey" (painting) was auctioned in Little Rock, AR at a charity benefit for the Easter Seals. Also in 2004 he went to work as a designer for Ethan Allen in California later transferring to Ethan Allen of Las Vegas in 2005. 2006 brought changes in employment. Joey continued his work as an interior design consultant, doing interior design but with Thomasville as he continues his writing. Writing children's stories and poetry, two of his poems "Heaven" and "The Scrapbooked Cowboy" were chosen to by the International Library of Poetry to be featured in their annual anthology "Immortal Verses". "Heaven" was also awarded as Editor's choice. He's also a member of the Cambridge Who's Who.
His current projects include a Sci-Fi series entitled, "Up and Out There" as well as a romantic novel entitled "Back To Hardscrabble" which deals with making amends to others, self discovery and new love found in the most unlikely way.
