K2 Calendar Items

Childrens Service Practice Monday 8:30-9:45 a.m. Wednesday 8:30-9:45 a.m. Thursday 9:45-11:00 a.m. MondayMonday-Wednesday, Dec. 13-15 Bring gifts to school We will exchange gifts. It will be a surprise until the day of the party where names will be chosen out of a hat. Boys will buy a gift for a boy. On the gift tag write: (We have practiced writing this during the week, to make it easy for them to do on their own.) To: A Boy From: Your Childs name Girls will buy a gift for a girl. On the gift tag write: (We have practiced writing this during the week, to make it easy for them to do on their own.) To: A Girl From: Your Childs name Tuesday-silly socks or mismatched socks Tuesday Funraiser at Boston Market 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday-wear green, red, or white Wednesday Presents are due today. This gives me time to make phone call reminders if necessary. It helps me to feel as if every child will have a present and if not that one can be found. Thursday-wear a hat/antlers (If we have practice this day, the hat will be taken off for Thursday practice.) 2:15-3:00 p.m. Christmas Party Look for the sign up list on the door. Parents (or family member) are welcome to attend. Plan for the Party Sing a song or two depending on the excitement of the day. Open gifts, say thank yous. Enjoy a snack. Clean-up and go home. FridayFriday-wear something striped like a candy cane Today our chapel buddies will do a special activity with us. Early bedtime Take time to rest during the day. If your child cannot rest, have a relaxed playtime at home. This will give child time to relax before the evenings events. Have a simple meal an hour or more before going to church to give them time to rest before the evening. Some of them might have excited stomachs.

Saturday, Saturday Dec. 17 Childrens Christmas Service 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Snack will be provided between services. If you wish to have something other than pretzels or crackers, please provide your child with a non-sugar snack. Children arrive 5:10 Parents will leave the child in the K2 classroom. The parents and family members will go to find a place to sit in the church. Parents will pick up their child after the services are done. Have a Blessed and Restful Vacation! Monday, Jan. 3 School resumes
