Abstrack
Plants have been the chieI source oI compounds oI medicine Ior thousand oI years.
Plants are also the source oI many medicines Ior the majority oI the world`s population. The
role oI biotechnology is very important Ior multiplying, conserving the spesies, and
enhancing the production oI secondary metabolites. Endophytes aremicrobes that inhabit
plants are currently considered to be a wellspring oI novel secondary metabolites oIIering the
potensial Ior medical and industrial exploitation. Natural products Irom various endophytic
microbes have been investigated. Some examples oI natural products observed Irom
endophytic microbes are antibiotics, antiviral compounds, anticancers, antimalarial
compounds, antioxidants, antidiabetics, and immunosuppressive compounds.
