Political system On November 30th, 1966 Barbados was granted independence from England.

Since then the politics of Barbados function within a framework of constitutional a parliamentary government with strong democratic traditions;

monarchy and

constitutional safeguards for nationals of Barbados include: freedom of speech, press, worship, movement, and association. The political system is followed by collectivism because the country believes in societys welfare over the individual benefit. And it has the effect of British political influence because formerly it was a colony of England. The Queen is the Head of the State, Viceroy is the Governor-General and Prime minister is the Head of Government. In Barbados, the Prime Minister may call general elections at any time, though no more than five years may lapse from one general election to the next. Bangladesh is a democratic country since 1971. Politics of Bangladesh takes place in a framework of a parliamentary representative democratic republic, whereby the Prime Minister of Bangladesh is the head of government, and of a multi-party

system. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and parliament. The political system is collectivistic in Bangladesh. People Bangladesh can elect their representative for the nation and the parliament in every 5 year. The president, while chief of state, holds a largely ceremonial post; the real power is held by the prime minister, who is head of government. Economical system Since achieving independence in 1966, the island nation of Barbados has transformed itself from a low-income economy dependent upon sugar production, into an uppermiddle-income economy based on tourism and the offshore sector. So it can be easily understood that the Barbadian economy is based on mixed economy.

On the other hand Bangladesh economy is also based on mixed economy. Though Bangladesh is a collectivistic country, it has both market and command economy. Because here both private and public enterprises participate in economic activity. To some extend Bangladesh has monopolistic activities in the economy because of market economy and prices of products are in fever of monopolists. Legal System Barbados follows English common law. She also accepts compulsory International Court of Justice jurisdiction, with reservations. The Judiciary of Barbados is an independent branch of the Barbadian government, subject only to the Barbadian Constitution. It is headed up by the Attorney General of Barbados.
