n a more tranquil time, there lived an architect who had never heard of specifications. He wrote everything on his drawings. When there were enough drawings, that worked out fine. But in some jobs, there werent enough drawings, so he had to add sheet just for notes. Once, on a big hospital job, when he ran out of room, he wrote his

notes on small pieces of paper to keep them safe until his draftsman could letter them on a drawing sheet. Well, he ran out of time, so he just printed the pieces of paper, and the Project Manual was born.
