ANHD held its Annual Member Meeting on Tursday,December 1 at New York Law School. Over 100 representativesrom our member groups gathered to discuss a drat “AordableNeighborhoods” platorm that is intended to inorm the upcomingmayoral election. Ater several lively breakout discussions, groupleaders reported back to the entire group and a platorm emergedthat presents an alternative vision or New York City that respondsto the needs o working class amilies and preserves the dynamismo all our neighborhoods.At the cocktail reception held ater, ANHD toasted our long-time leaders o our Board o Directors including Walter Blenmano Beulah HDFC, Michelle de la Uz o the Fith AvenueCommittee, Barbara Lowry o Northern Manhattan ImprovementCorporation, and John Reilly o Fordham Bedord HousingCorporation. We also enthusiastically welcomed our new BoardMembers including Ismene Speliotis o the Mutual HousingAssociation o NY, Harry DeRienzo o Banana Kelly, AleciahAnthony o NorthWest Bronx Community and Clergy Coalition,and Donald Notice o West Harlem Group Assistance.Every two years board members or ANHD are elected by votingANHD members.
