2011) compelled the management to hold another meeting with JAC under the chairmanship of CMD, BSNL. CMD informed the JAC that the management is trying its level best to settle the issue of relieving the DOT opted ITS officers as early as possible and he assured that it will be settled in two or three months. He clarified that the apprehension that the ITS who opted for DOT will be allowed to come back through recruitment process along with the continuation of their seniority need not be there and such back door entry with maintaining seniority will not be there. He assured that the issue of 78.2% DA merger will be submitted for the consideration of BSNL Board. He told that as per the DPE guidelines when the company is in loss, bonus (PLI) cannot be paid. On all other demands in the strike notice the reply of the management remains the same as reported in the minutes of the management issued on the meeting held with JAC on 12.12.2011, which was put in our website on 13.12.2011. JAC strongly demanded for settlement of the demands without any delay. Com. V.A.N. Namboodiri, Convenor, JAC, P.Asokababu, Dy.GS, BSNLEU and the General Secretaries / leaders of the other unions in JAC have participated in the discussion. Meeting held by RLC The RLC held a meeting today at 1500 hrs with management representatives and JAC leaders. The JAC leaders presented our demands and requested RLC for directing the management to settle the issues. Management representatives took the same position as recorded in the minutes of the meeting held by Director (HR) on 12.12.2011. In between, the Chief Labour Commissioner came to the meeting and after discussion fixed the next meeting on 22nd December. He directed the management representatives to send appropriate higher level officers for the meeting to be held on 22.12.2011. From the JAC, Com. V.A.N. Namboodiri, President, BSNLEU and Com.
