This course we are going to have an English language assistant
who is going to help us in Press Workshop. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona. She grew up with her parents and her three sisters, younger than her. When she was eighteen she travelled to Los Angeles with her friends to complete her studies. At university she studied comunication. If you are surprised about her surname you would like to know some centuries ago somebody from the Basque Country went to Los Angeles, and that´s why her surname is Basque. We are happy to meet her and we are sure we will learn a lot with her.
-Why did you come here, instead another place?
Because I was interested in the culture of the Basque Country. -What was your first impression of the Basque Country? People here are very nice. The first place that I visited was Donostia. -Do you speak any Spanish? I do, but it’s not easy because I haven’t had spanish classes for two years. -Do you like the food here or you prefer your own food? Yes, I do. I like the “tortilla” and the “kalimotxo”. -What places have you visited?Which ones do you like more? Spain, The UK, Belgium, Norway, The Nederlands. -How many languages do you speak? I speak English and a bit of Spanish.
