are designed and
built
to
increase
product quality
by accurately posi
tioning
cutting
tools
on
production
and non-pro
duction
machines. They
feature
improved
cutting
tool
centerline accuracy, positive drive
ofthe
cutting
tool
and
thru-coolant
capability.
Each
patented tapered
toolholder
also features acompact design
which
minimizes spindle
to
spindlecenter distance
as
well
as
overhang
from the
bearing diameters
to
the
spindle end, making
the
systemideal
for
single and mUltiple spindle stub
drilling
applications
without
the
use
of
costly bushing plates.
Six
separate body
sizes
are available
to
accommodate a
wide
variety
of
tool
shank diameters beginning
at
V16-inch
(1.5mm) diameter.
Each
tapered
tool
holder
assembly features a guaranteed accuracy
of
0.0005
T.I.R.
runout
2-in.
fromthe
collet facemeasured by a zero spindle and
class
XX gage pin.Special holders, such
as
extended lengths and solidsoft blank nosepieces
for
cutter
inserts, can also bedesigned and
manufactured
to
customer specifica
tions
.
