ROSE A rose is a plant of the genus Rosa, the Family of Rosaceae. Roses have over 100 species.

Flowers are large and showy, in colours white, red, yellow, pink etc. Most species are native to Asia, with smaller numbers native to Europe, North America and Northwest Africa. The flowers of most species have five petals, with the exception of Rosa sericea, which usually has only four. The sharp objects along a rose stem are commonly called thorns. It is a modification form from epidermis. Roses are best known as ornamental plants grow for their flowers in the garden and sometimes indoor. People also use roses to make parfume and commercial cut flower crops. Generally, roses harvested and cut when in bud. Roses are easy to cultivate. Roses can cultivate in glasshouses, in garden, and inside the home if there are some pots. Beside they are quite beautiful, roses also can use for herbal and folk medicines. Thats why, many people love them.
