This research Job Design with respect to Employee Motivation and Job Performancewas carried out to identify factors which play important role in job design so that itcould best motivate the employees and in return they give best performance. Thisresearch thesis which drew knowledge from many disciplines (Psychology, humanfactors, Management Sciences) demonstrate effect of job design on employeemotivation in the banking sector of Pakistan in order to enhance their performance atworkplace. This mixed method study used both quantitative (survey) and qualitativedata (job descriptions and other documents) for analysis and interpretation, whichprovide information not only about existing designs but in the end a model job design is
3presented for mobile phone companies to improve both their efficiency andeffectiveness. We had collected data from Mobilink mobile phone company, MuslimUfone mobile company and Zong mobile phone company. We had drawn a sample unitof 50 respondents from each company making a collective sample of 150 respondents.It was concluded that different job designs deeply influence the performance of anemployee as it guides the behavior of an individual. So in order to be competitive in
global era employees’ job must be designed in all round manner.
