HISTORY (PART 1): NPD TRACTOR TRAILER INCIDENTS

This is the summary for the tractor trailer (TT) incidents involving the Main Street Bridge in Northampton, MA. Many thanks to the Northampton Police Department (NPD) for providing the accident reports and police assistance calls that are summarized below. Information does not include the incidents where the NPD responded to a call but the TT unit had left the scene. There were also at least 2-3 incidents per year where the NPD provided escort to a specific destination for a TT unit that was lost in the Montview Neighborhood.
