Report of Gifts
A gift to Hartwick College is a gift to Hartwick students.
Philanthropic support funds both the foundation of each student’s experienceand the enhancements that are distinctly Hartwick. Gifts of all sizes and for allpurposes combine to make tanglible yet immeasurable differences in the lives andthe growth of our students. The pages of this annual report of donors are highlighted with student stories—postcards of just a few of Hartwick’s fabulous 1,500 current students. In theirfaces, in their words, you might just
nd all you need to know about HartwickCollege today, and tomorrow. These young people and their peers study the natural sciences, social sciences, the arts, and humanities. They perform, present, and practice. They develop theirintellect on campus and test their world view through J Term abroad, serve theCollege and the community, and take advantage of internships and shadowing opportunities. On Oyaron Hill , the latest generation of Hartwick students ispreparing to make a difference; their difference. The donors recognized here represent every faction of the Hartwick Collegecommunity: trustees who volunteer to lead; alumni from nearly every class yearwho want current young people to have the best; current and past parents who seevalue in their child’s education well beyond the cost of tuition; faculty, staff, andadministrators who choose to invest
nancially in the enterprise that they add toas professionals every day; friends and neighbors who recognize that Hartwick isa vital economic and community partner; and the Honorary Degree recipients andother friends who defy categorization. The College Community collectively and as individuals thanks each donor toHartwick for making annual gifts, and making a difference.
