WORLD ENVIRONMENT WEEK

June 6th 8th 2011

As part of Environment Week Celebrations at our facility between 6th and 8th June 2011, we Synergy Team have great pleasure in initiating the below mentioned events and competitions to create awareness on sustainable environment. This also marks the occasion of World Environment Day on 5th June 2011.

EVENT DETAILS
GO GREEN:
As a token of appreciation of all EI team members for their voluntary participation and contribution to support BCP Employment Involvement club, tree saplings will be planted by them (EI team members & Leadership team) on 06th June 2011 at 2.30 P.M to 3.30 P.M.

Competition 1:

POSTER CREATION ON ENVIRONMENT

Its time for exhibiting your creativity on Posters. Yes.Create your own posters on the subject Environment and you should explain the theme of your poster during evaluation process. Posters can be designed with drawings or paintings or crayons or Photoshop in A3/A4 sheet. All the posters will be displayed at our Reception Office. Best three innovative & meaningful posters will be rewarded suitably. You are requested to handover the posters to Mr.Sundar S (Extn: 4687) by mail/phone (CWS: subrasu) on or before 6th June 2011. Best posters will be evaluated on 7th June11.

Competition: 2:

SLOGAN/s

You have the great opportunity in exhibiting your innovative thoughts framing Slogans about Environment. You can frame your slogans both in Tamil and English. Each slogan should not exceed three lines. Slogans should be environmental related, original, meaningful and relevant in context. Box for Slogan Competition will be kept at our Reception office. You need to mention your Name, Psoft ID and Department in your Slogan paper (preferably one sided paper) and drop it in the box. The competition is open from 30th May 2011 to 6th June 2011. Best three slogans each in English and Tamil will be awarded suitably.

Eg: Save our trees, Save our lives, The future of the forest is in your hands

Competition 3:

BEST IDEAS TO SAVE OUR ENVIRONMENT

Post your Best ideas on the theme Save the Environment. Box to receive the Ideas will be kept at our Reception Office. You need to mention your Name, Psoft ID and Department in your Slogan paper (preferably one sided paper) and drop it in the box. The competition is open from 30th May 2011 to 6th June 2011. Best three Ideas will be awarded suitably. Ex: Switch off monitors when not in use

Competition 4:

QUIZ COMPETITION

Here is the wonderful opportunity to share your knowledge on Environment through the Quiz Competition which will be held on 8 th June 2011 between 2.40 and 3.10 pm. Employees interested to participate are requested to enroll their names with Mr.Sundar S (Extn: 4687) by mail/phone (CWS: subrasu) on or before 3rd June 2011. Teams will be formed based on the enrollment for the competition and questions will be related to the environment. Team scoring highest points will be rewarded.
