This paper is organized as follows: in Sect. 1, we recall a short definition of ascaling function for both the geometric Cantor set on the line and a sequence of
partitions
on the line. Following the definitions we state the main results (Theorem 1
and
2). In Sect. 2, we show two uniform estimates of the nonlinearities of longcompositions of any map in a family (Lemma 2 and 3) and the proofs of the mainresults.
