CURRENT ELECTRICITY

Electric Current: The strength of electric current in a conductor is defined as the rate of flow of charge across any cross-section of the conductor. If a charge q flows across any cross-section in t seconds, current I is given by If the charge flowing through an area is not steady but varying with time, then current in the conductor at any time t is given by,

Where Q is the net amount of charge flowing normally across a cross-section of the conductor in a time interval from t to t+ t.
