Daniel Davis is a local Phoenix illustrator and designer. In 2008 Daniel launched a daily web comic, called the “Monster Commute”, about life on an endless monster freeway. 87% of it is inspired by his 3 hr daily commute in the Valley.

He is also the co-owner of Steam Crow LLC, a Phoenix-based studio dedicated to creating stories, characters, and products with a monster imagination. To date, Steam Crow has published 3 books about imaginary beasts.
