Yesterday at the airport, Dipakbhai told me that the kids at the BGMS Bangalore are barely able to control their excitement at the thought that so many people were coming to see them all the way from London! That excitement was more than evident today! The group left Mapple hotel at 9.30 after breakfast dressed in their smart Shishukunj outfits and half an hour later they were at Ramesh nagar where Dipak Bhai welcomed them into "his world". Since the coach couldnt reach the ashram gate, they walked the last 100 metres or so thru a typical indian "gali". CLICK ON THE PICTURES FOR A LARGER VIEW

A warm welcome awaited them at the Ashram. All the students were dressed neatly and stood in equally neat rows. There was a party of 8 girls with a welcoming Tikka ready for all of them. There were nervous smiles from both sides.

After the Namaskar, they were welcomed "back to their home" in Anna's words. Dipakbhai gave all of them their identity cards to be worn for the rest of the three days stay.

When i left, they had already warmed up and the students were taking the group for a walk around to show all the facilities of the Ashram.

The group will be spending the day there and going back to the hotel only by 9 PM after dinner. ( just realised - No pictures of the boys!!? next time more of them!)
