Goal is:

Dear Parents, We have been setting classroom goals all year long, so I think it is a perfect time for the students to think about an individual goal that they would like to meet by the end of January. This month we will let you and your child discuss what is one goal that he/she would like to work on hard during the month of January. Please talk with your child about this goal and let me know what you decided by returning this form tomorrow. I will keep this goal on your childs workmat so that it will remind him/her what they are focusing on during the month of January. At the end of the month, we will together decide if your child met this goal or it is something that your child needs to continue to work on during the month of February. I have included some samples that you may want to discuss with your child to help you choose a goal for January. Thank you for your support in helping your child understand the purpose of setting goals.
