$225,904,983All costs associated with classroom instruction, for example, teacher salaries, supplies and activities are budgeted in this portion. It also includes services for alternative education, guidance/counseling, specialeducation, English language acquisition and other supplemental instructional programs.
Direct Support to Students:
$84,977,470This piece includes all costs that go toward runninga school, including student safety, school ofce,maintenance, phone service, custodial, and studenttransportation. It also contains costs for assessmentand testing, and school improvement/curriculumservices.
$30,087,674Expenses for services provided centrally byour district include the Superintendent’s ofce,Human Resources/Personnel, Business Services,Community Relations and Communications, andPurchasing/Mail. Each school depends on theseservices to run its educational programs.
