At this location you will nd the Tree Limb Drop-Off site where residents can bring tree branchesand leaves during regular business hours.This service is available to residents of the City ofLongmont at no additional fee. Residents outsidethe City of Longmont will be charged a small feebased on volume.If there is not a bin for a particular item, pleasetake it with you. You may contact us by phone foradditional information on how to recycle items notaccepted at this location.

In 2011, cityresidents recycled 22,577 tons of material.Those materials included: curbside recyclingcollection, Waste Diversion Center collections,tree limb diversion materials, and papershredding events.

Drop-off Locations
The city offers residents two options for properdisposal of chemical and hazardous wastes.Option one is year round access to the BoulderCounty Hazardous Materials ManagementFacility. This site is open Wednesday throughSaturday, all year long, for your convenience.Option two is an annual hazardous materialscollection event held in Longmont at the PublicWorks Maintenance Facility.

is openfour days a week, year round, and Longmontresidents may visit the site to drop off theirpaints, solvents, pesticides, light bulbs andother hazardous wastes. Residential ousehold azardous WasteDrop-off ours:
8:30 a.m. — 4 p.m.,Wednesday – Saturday. Residentsmay drop off waste during thesetimes. Closed: Sunday — Tuesday.
 When is Pickup
Trash is picked up once per week.
Recycling ispicked up once every other week on your trashcollection day and must be out by 7 a.m.
Holidays
Trash and recycling collection is not providedon the following nine holidays
: New Year’s Day,Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, MemorialDay, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day,Thanksgiving, & Christmas. If your collection dayfalls on the holiday, or later that same week, yourcollection will be one day behind for that weekonly.

.Single stream recycling allows for allrecyclable materials to go into one container (greycontainer). The only thing you have to do is empty
 
and rinse! Please do not atten aluminum cansor containers.

City of Longmont sanitationsubscription customers only (please bring yourutility bill as verication) may bring unwantedcleaners, solvents, pesticides, aerosol cans,paint, and other chemical wastes for disposal atno additional charge. Chemists will be on-site toidentify and properly dispose of many types ofhousehold hazardous chemicals.
Not Accepted:
Commercialgenerated wastes of any kind arenot accepted. This event is forchemicals commonly used forresidential purposes ONLY.
