The Wabeno Lions Clubhave been a constant support-er of the Wabeno ElementarySchool Literacy Programs.Again this year they havedonated $600 to the schooldistrict to purchase books for each of the children to havefor their very own. They alsodonated $300 for the Accel-erated Reading Program. Thestudents love receiving a book. In this day of videogames and technology, it isamazing to see the effect of having their very own book has on the students. They are just as glued to their book as they can be on the T.V. Thank you again Lions. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
