Job Description:
touchPoint Partners is currently looking for an enthusiastic public relations intern to help us executeour media strategy.
Primary Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the development of media lists* Drafting public relations materials(blogs, news releases, pitch letters, fact sheets and other materials)* Conducting outreach to journalists and bloggers for media coverage* Assisting with social media strategy and execution* Monitoring and compiling press clips* Attending client meetings and participating in brainstorm sessions
Job Qualifications:Requirements:
* Must be currently enrolled as a Junior/Senior* Preferred majors: Journalism, Marketing, English or Communications* Interest or experience public relations, marketing, and social media* Proficient with Microsoft Office* Excellent written & verbal communication skills* Strong attention to detail* Project management skills: able to work on multiple projects, rep-prioritize as needed, andconsistently deliver on time* Willingness to learn* 6-15 hrs/wk needed and we request that you can be available 3-4 days/wk,
