By altering the registry slightly, Windows XP can be set to close crashed applicationsautomatically. So when the user gives the shutdown command during an application crash, the Pcwill shutdown automatically without waiting for input from the user.To allow Windows XP to close non-responsive applications automatically upon shutdown:
Go to Start > Run and type in "regedit"(without quotes) and navigate toHKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Desktop
