Sample (pages 12-13) Juego De Verbos Y Dados (Verb And Dice Game) Instructions for the games on pages 13-15 1. Give each pair of students 2 dice and a verb grid. The verb grids are on page 13. 2. Set a very short time limit, perhaps less than 2 minutes. 3. The students must find the correspondences between the horizontal and vertical numbers. For example, if Student A rolls a 2 and a 4, then he or she has to say the correct form of recibir in the t form. If the verb is conjugated correctly, Student A writes his or her initial in the appropriate square on the grid. 4. The purpose of the game is for a player to obtain more initialed squares on the grid than his or her opponent. 5. Stop the game after the designated short time limit. 6. The player with the most squares containing his or her initials at the end of the time limit wins.
