ALERT TO ALL PARENTS *The BEST BOOK I've ever read exploring nutrition, illness, and recovery - "Nutr

ition and Your Child's Soul", Dolev Reuven Gilmore... "Step back and imagine you r child living a normal life, even if they've been diagnosed with ADHD, Depressi on, Austism, Psychosis, Obesity, Down Syndrome". Dolev succeeds in lightening up very serious technical subject matter, irreveran tly showing up some of the medical ideas around that are created and driven by t he "windmills" (big money pharma and agri business) and some of the amazing mist akes made in interpreting some of the research data (and still sold to us as fac t). Adding a soul to the science. The Foreword by Frances Fuller on behalf of her me ntor Dr Abram Hoffer who passed away in 2009, 1 week after writing it himself: " Dr Hoffer had a Ph.D in Biochemistry, an MD, and a specialist certification in p sychiatry. He helped many thousands of people through 55 years of research and m edical practice, and worked for 3 1/2 years as an orthomolecular nutritional con sultant." His mentee, Frances, had a "modest 32 years" apprenticeship with him, read most of his library of 1,800 books and working closely with him and his pat ients. Together they set up the Orthomolecular Vitamin Information Centre in 200 , Dr Hoffer made Frances his Associate . The Preface states the book is meant to be: "Informative... Irreverant... Challenging... Entertaining and Readable... As accurate and scientifically solid as possible... Uncompromisingly SERIOUS" "Leading us through the "nutritional mine-field", Gilmore defines "Faulty Nutrit ion of Brain Cells (FNOBC), a diagnosis clarifying treatment of childrens' "soul " problems. Then he aims his lance at questionable medical interventions, includ ing... Mercury in tooth fillings and vaccine: "guilty until proven innocent" Psychoactive drugs: "street cats dressed in evening gowns" Fluoride in water and toothpaste: "The Fluoridation Farcification" Immediate umbilical cord clamping: "Are You Smarter Than God?"

Many academics have trouble with everyday language on technical subjects but my observation is that it someone who REALLY KNOWS the subject who can correctly an d accurately translate complex, difficult and highly technical material into som ething the everyday person can ingest. This 'translation' takes superior underst anding not just parroting theory.
