In case it dose not support, then what open protocol it supports to communicate with third party software to exchange the data? OR The protocol is proprietary? Please provide the number IOs per PLC i.e. AI, AO, DI, DO, Special inputs/outputs if any Does each system have its dedicated SCADA or HMI? Does Pick-Light System support OPC connectivity to exchange the data with MES? Provide list of different equipment types with their system and OPC compatibility for each Line/ Shop e.g. OCR

Provide list of different registers available for communication and set of 14 valid values on each of these equipment For testing the interfaces and MES functionalities, are test simulators available? If not, how do you propose to do interface 15 testing? 1. PLC s and CNC machines should provide status signals over OPC. Status signals comprise of Start, stop, logical fault codes. Description Will there be serial or Ethernet communication for Automatic and Semi-automatic machines (Like Valve seal assy, Leak test, Injector assy etc) Will the Host server communication be real time or after a defined frequency Will there be a scanner attached to the number marking m/c ? Type of stops - Fixed position stop or stoppage only at the end of Takt? Will the OEM have different triggers for different type of stops? Will the OEM give conveyor Index for the Engine assy line? How will MES get the IPV OK / NOK signal for 1. Maual stations 2. Semi automatic stations 3. Automatic stations How communication will be done? PLC or PC based?? How many different parameters (ex- Torque, angle, Upper or Lower limit etc..) MES needs to capture after tightening of each bolt?? Station wise List of Torque tools and Nut runners on the line Will there be any cycle completion signal by the Torque tool after finishing the operation for a job on the station Through Barcode scan at the test m/c or it is to be sent by MES DC?
