Call for garlic vendors
Pete & Becky Ratzlaff have been grow-ing garlic in the Nicola Valley for 16 years. And for the past 9 of those, they’ve hosteda fun garlic festival & antique tractor showat their Lower Nicola property. This year, however, they are expanding the garlic festinto Smith Pioneer Park in Lower Nicola, during the last weekend in September. And they're looking for more vendors whogrow and produce products or fresh garlic.Unlike when they first came to the valley, there is so much garlic being grown &readily available now, that they’d likeother growers to participate. They are alsoreaching farther afield for participants, from the Okanagan & Cariboo. The new & improved festival is in theplanning stage, with hopes for contests…for best garlic braid, best garlic pickles, bestgarlic bread, best garlic costume — andmore. FMI call Becky or Pete, 378-4199.

Why is abbreviation such a long word? What's another word for thesaurus? Why isn't phonetic spelled the way it sounds? How did a fool and his money get together? Why are there flotation devices under plane seats instead of parachutes? What was the best thing before sliced bread?.Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?
